Brass Drawer Topper & Trash Drawer Edge Protector – Custom Size

This brass drawer topper is a custom-cut drawer edge protector made to your exact drawer width. It is most popular on trash and garbage pull-out drawers, where hands and bins constantly scuff the top edge, and works just as well on kitchen cabinet drawers, bathroom vanities and custom furniture. It prevents scratches, scuffs and chipped paint while adding a clean, premium brass detail.

Each protector is made from 1/16" (0.060" / 1.5mm) solid brass and comes with a protective film on both sides — this film must be removed before installation.

Installation Guide

1. Position and center the protector
2. Mark hole locations
3. Pre-drill holes (slightly oversized recommended)
4. (Optional) Apply a thin bead of clear silicone
5. Install screws

What is a drawer topper?

A drawer topper is a thin metal strip fixed to the top edge of a drawer front. It protects the edge from wear and chipping, especially on trash drawers that are opened many times a day.

Is the brass lacquered?

No. It is raw, unlacquered solid brass that develops a natural patina over time. Polish it with any brass cleaner to restore the bright finish.

How do I measure my drawer?

Measure the full width of the drawer front in inches and enter it in the personalization box. We cut the protector about 1/16" smaller for a clean fit. If you do not give a thickness, we assume a standard 3/4" drawer front.

Flat or 1/4" L protection?

Flat covers only the top edge for a minimal look. The 1/4" L style also wraps 1/4" down the front for extra protection on heavily used drawers.
