Can I order a metal garden gate in a custom size?

How do I accurately measure my opening for a metal gate?

Measure the total distance between your posts or walls at three points: top, middle, and bottom. Use the smallest measurement. Be sure to account for post thickness and hinge clearances. Yes! We can adjust existing laser-cut patterns or create custom artwork, logos, and family crests. Share your design idea or vector file with us, and our engineering team will create a 2D/3D preview before production.

What materials are IGO Metal gates and hardware made from?

Our heavy-duty garden gates are fabricated from premium-grade galvanized steel and heavy-gauge architectural metals. Galvanization protects the metal against rust and corrosion, making our gates ideal for all harsh outdoor weather conditions across North America.

How are your gates finished for weather resistance?

Every gate undergoes an industrial electrostatic powder-coating process after laser cutting and frame fabrication. This high-grade powder coating provides superior UV resistance, rust prevention, and scratch protection compared to standard liquid paint.

What color options are available for custom metal gates?

Our standard products are finished with weather-resistant electrostatic powder coating. Because we manufacture in-house, we can provide custom RAL powder coating color codes upon request to perfectly match your home's exterior architecture. Please contact us for custom color and finish options.

3. Shipping, Packaging & Delivery to USA

How long does production and shipping take for US orders?

All of our products are manufactured within 14 business days. Depending on the scale and complexity of custom projects, manufacturing may take up to 3 weeks. Production for standard stock items is typically completed within 10 days.

  • Custom Gates & Special Orders: Fabrication and electrostatic powder coating take approximately 10–14 business days.

  • Transit Time to the USA: Delivery via express air cargo typically takes 3–7 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your package dispatches.

How are large metal gates packaged to prevent shipping damage?

We pack all of our heavy-duty metal gates and delicate architectural metalwork in reinforced wooden crates or heavy-duty export boxes with edge protection and foam cushioning.

Are shipments to the USA insured?

Yes, all orders shipped by IGO Metal Craft are fully insured against transit damage or loss. If your item arrives damaged, please take clear photos of the packaging and product and notify us within 48 hours.

4. Installation & Hardware

Do your metal garden gates come with mounting hardware and hinges?

Yes, our gate packages include heavy-duty stainless steel hinges, latch mechanisms, and mounting hardware. Please note that because field installation surfaces vary (e.g., masonry, concrete, wood, metal posts), wall-mounting anchors/fasteners suited to your specific wall material are not included.

Are IGO Metal gates easy to install for DIYers or contractors?

Yes, our gates are engineered for straightforward installation. They come pre-drilled with matching hardware. We recommend installation by two adults or a professional contractor due to the weight of the solid steel frame.

5. Returns, Warranties & Customer Support

What is your return and refund policy?

  • Standard Non-Custom Items: Eligible for returns within 30 days of delivery in original, unused condition.

  • Custom-Sized & Made-to-Order Gates: Because custom gates are fabricated specifically to your exact dimensions, they cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect or shipping damage covered under warranty.
